Former MasterChef judge Gary Mehigan partners with the Rancilio Silvia Pro

It’s never been a better time to be a coffee drinker, and now that we’ve spent so much time at home the last year or so, coffee machine manufacturers have been upping their at-home coffee machines. Rancilio has had some great reviews of their machines in the past, and with the Silvia Pro they’ve upped their game again.

And now they have Gary Mehigan, the former MasterChef judge, restauranteur and most importantly coffee lover as a brand ambassador for the Silvia Pro.

Apparently Gary has been using a Rancilio Lucy until now, so it wasn’t a hard decision to upgrade to the Silvia Pro.

It’s not Gary’s first foray into coffee, in 2020 he launched the Gary Mehigan Specialty Range with the Melbourne coffee roasters Veneziano.

The Silvia Pro is a high-end home espresso machine and has a simple, compact design. It has a dual boiler, the addition of dual PID controllers and a digital display.

Semi-automatic dosing ensures a consistent espresso shot every time, and the dual boiler gives the ability to brew coffee and steam milk at the same time.
