Do Good Coffee names Head & Neck Cancer Foundation as beneficiary

The UK’s Head & Neck Cancer Foundation is thrilled to announce that it has been recognised and officially made a beneficiary of Do Good Coffee. This means that a % of all Do Good Coffee sales – from both consumer and trade purchases – will now go directly to help fund the charity’s work.

Frankie Taloen, CEO and Founder at Do Good Coffee comments: “We want to drive philanthropy at a grass roots level by leveraging the nation’s growing love of gourmet coffee. We are making a luxury experience accessible, in an ethical and morally conscious manner. Our team decided to partner with the Head & Neck Cancer Foundation – as cancer can touch everyone and this type of tumour can be hugely impactful, especially on our senses of taste and smell. The foundation strives to minimise the impact from surgery and to help people spot the symptoms – which leads to earlier diagnosis. Coffee is a sensual and evocative experience combining taste and aroma, so we feel that there is a strong alignment there. Plus, the HNCF team are thoroughly lovely to work with and they share our joint passion for doing good!”

Furthermore, the team behind Do Good Coffee has left the cumulative value of donations uncapped. So, the more coffee sold the more money that will go to HNCF to help save lives.

Michelle Vickers, CEO at the Head & Neck Cancer Foundation adds: “I am absolutely thrilled that we have been chosen as one of Do Good Coffee’s beneficiaries at launch. Through this partnership we hope to further raise awareness around the severity of head and neck cancers and the importance of early diagnosis. Everyone loves, or knows someone who loves, delicious fresh coffee – so we will be reaching out to a huge audience. Sadly over 30 people every day get the life-shattering news that they have a head or neck tumour. Our work directly saves lives, so please do buy your coffee from Do Good moving forward.”

Do Good Coffee is available in three grinds – whole bean, medium and fine across 250g, 500g and 1kilo bags – making it an affordable luxury and ethical choice for cofficionados everywhere.

The company sources its beans only from sustainable, fair trade and ethical producers – its selection of distinct single source coffees hails from Brazil, Uganda, Colombia and Peru. There is also a House Espresso blend which has been painstakingly crafted to offer an everyday artisan brew. There are also decaffeinated options too – the blending team uses the Swiss Water Process to produce its decaf options, which is the cleanest way of doing so. The company roasts its coffee onsite at the Do Good farm in Canterbury, Kent.
