New product alert: Circles Coffee single serve pour over

Single serve pour over coffee is not exactly new any more, but we love these Circles Coffee things. The look way handier and easier on the eye than some of the fiddly hanging bags you can get out there. They’re on Kickstarter now – check them out.

Want to enjoy a virtual coffee in a virtual gallery?

Giles Miller Studio and cult London coffee brand Grind virtual coffee space class=

Apologies if we sound a bit sceptical, but really? It’s a bit of a collaboration between Giles Miller Studio and Grind Coffee, and we’re honestly confused about what it’s really for. It’s apparently “not intended to recreate the typical café experience but to offer a new dimension by rendering the coffee shop visit in a digital format.”

You can see the article here, and if anyone knows what it’s meant to be please get in touch, we’d love to know.

Melitta Professional have had a rebrand

Marco Gottschalk, MD of Melitta says “Independence, high quality standards and our origins as part of the strong Melitta Group – all of that is integral to Melitta Professional. Together with our partners, we are looking forward to increasing the visibility of the enhanced Melitta Professional brand and our services on the market and expanding our market position.”

It’s quite a subtle shift, if you’d not been told you might have missed it.

Atomo Coffee, the “coffee” made without coffee is launching with their cold brew

Not everyone is the greatest fan of Atomo Coffee, and we’re not 1000% sold ourselves either.

In case you’ve not seen it before, Atomo is a coffee startup that promises to “hack the coffee bean” and make coffee, without coffee, which is meant to be more sustainable than real coffee.

Anyway, three years after starting up, Atomo have started production, and launched with their cold brew.

They can only make 1000 cans per day, so they’re only releasing a batch at a time. Oh, and they’re an eye-watering $5.99 per can.

Get the lowdown here.

Where’s Wally?

La Marzocco have launched an automatic milk steamer, going by the brand of Wally Milk.

“Wally Milk is the easy way to steam milk. He’s an extra set of hands during busy café times. Simply place a filled pitcher of milk on Wally Milk’s tilt tray and he’ll get to work.”

It looks fun!
