Cornish roasters Origin Coffee announce a new roastery in Porthleven, Cornwall

The B Corporation Certified coffee roasters Origin Coffee have announced today on their LinkedIn company page that they’re moving from their existing location in Helston to a new, purpose built roastery and shop in Porthleven.

On their post, they’ve said “Porthleven is a beautiful fishing town, which has been home to our first coffee shop, Harbour Head since 2015. The town has attracted global attention for its food and drink scene, and annual food festival.

“The roastery will be a central hub for all things Origin, where our people can work, socialise, drink amazing coffee, enjoy organised activities, and grow as individuals. We’re also expanding our quality control procedures, and providing further training opportunities to our wholesale partners. Courses will also be available to anyone who wants to learn more about speciality coffee from our industry-leading professionals.

“In addition to creating a space to enjoy speciality coffee, we’ll be organising a series of events, talks, and pop-ups. Weekends will also be a place to socialise and enjoy delicious food cooked outside.

“The new roastery and coffee shop is scheduled to open in Spring 2021. We’ll be sharing more information and photos in the coming weeks”
