Drones are making a buzz by delivering Coca-Cola with Coffee

We’ve refrained so far from talking about Coca-Cola with Coffee, partly because everyone else has already, and partly because it’s not the first time they’ve strayed into coffee territory. But this drone delivery is causing a buzz and we wanted to see if it would ever fly.

Hold on, why deliver it by drone?

OK, it’s actually just a publicity stunt.

Tom Walker, the CEO of DroneUp (the company who did the delivery, said “It’s a neat way to launch in today’s environment, where big events aren’t possible. We delivered the new product via drone in Coffee County, Georgia. It showed the safety and efficiency of drones and had a huge media impact”.

DroneUp has already been pushing the industry forward, working with Walmart to deliver at-home COVID-19 self-collection kits. The Coke partnership moved the drone delivery conversation forward.

That’s all we’re saying about Coca Cola with Coffee. (unless something else exciting happens)
