The new Nike Space Hippie 04 Mocha: one for the Gen Z “Zoomers”?
Nike have released their newest coffee creation, this time it’s the Nike Space Hippie 04 Mocha. Is it their best yet?

Nike are no stranger to the coffee scene, and in the past we’ve seen the original Coffee Daybreak, then the Air Max 97 Coffee. What followed next was the Air Force 1 Low Coffee, which is basically a vanilla Frappuccino. Then came the Nike Blazer Mid Coffee which is pretty much everything we’ve ever wanted from a pair of treads.
And finally, we have this one.
The Nike Space Hippie 04 Mocha
The Space Hippie 04 is not so much coffee as much as a low-fat oat milk mocha frappuccino, with whipped cream and unicorn sprinkles.
The Nike Space Hippie 04 Mocha: Made of recycled materials
It’s an environmentally friendly model, and is made of at lease 25% recycled material, and has the lowest carbon footprint in their range.
The shoe upper features the “Space Waste Yarn” which is made of roughly 75% recycled content – plastic bottles, t-shirts and scraps of yarn. The upper colour is in a cool mocha brown.
The usual swoosh is there, made of a bunch of beige stitching.
Overall, we’re not sold. Sure, it’s a Mocha colour scheme, but it’s not as coffee themed as their previous efforts.
