It was while we were fishing around looking for information on this coffee vodka that we discovered Kraken Black Roast Coffee Rum. Or did the Kraken find us?
It has a “dark and bold” aroma, a “coffee and spice” flavour and a “rich and smooth” finish. We need some now!
The branding, by the booze branding experts Stranger and Stranger gets it perfectly. There’s a yellow lightning bolt on the neck to depict how it was “crafted on the stormy seas”, and the label carries a dark picture of a “doomed ship carrying coffee beans” which “meets the cruel fate of The Kraken”. (let’s just hope it’s not a dark prediction of this ship’s fate).
There’s a warning on the label to “look away” because “few live to tell the tale after staring in the The Beast’s menacing eye”.

- 2 shots of Kraken Black roast
- Cold brew coffee
Directions
Grab yourself some Kraken Black Roast. Add the Kraken Black roast to a glass, fill it with ice and top with cold brew coffee. Garnish with a lemon wheel. Done.
