High Street Coffee Trends: Costa goes all Vegan and Vitamins with three new lattes

Costa Coffee, the Nation’s Favourite coffee shop has launched three new coffees – and they sound great, even if you’re not vegan. And they’re all packed full of vitamins and other good stuff. Caffeine is a vitamin, right?

Vegan alternatives have been getting a lot more attention recently, with the high street chains sometimes lagging a bit behind the trend.

Russell Braterman, Global Innovation Director at Costa Coffee said: “We’re absolutely delighted to introduce our new delicious Latte+ range. So without further ado, here’s the scoop guys:

The Caramel Oat Latte+

Costa’s classic latte made with Oat milk and flavoured with caramel syrup and then made all healthy and grown-up by adding vitamin B12 and zinc. Bring it on, extra shot of coffee please.

The Hazelnut Almond Latte+

As you’d expect, the classic latte but with a healthy dash of coconut. Vanilla syrup to sweeten things up and hint at sunnier things to come. And, no surprise here, this contains vitamin B12 and zinc as well.

The Vanilla Coconut Latte+

Nuttier than a leftover Christmas fruitcake, this smooth customer blends the light creaminess of almond milk with a delicious roasted hazelnut syrup. Oh, and it contains This smooth nutty tasting drink blends the light creaminess of an almond dairy alternative with an indulgent roasted hazelnut syrup with an added portion of protein. Costa’s website helpfully points this out:
